Well as the title suggests, just when you thought that it was ok to presume that a white object is white... guess again. I've been looking closely at the shadows and the highlights you find on white objects. I find it quite interesting that you can find colour where you thought that none existed before? So next time you look at a white radiator, look again... and are you really sure that those white kitchen rolls don't have any purple in them?

I had the same experience at the paint shop the other day with the chips..."now THATS white" put it next to another card "oh no its soooo...pink!" you could only tell by comparison :-)
